By now you’ve no doubt heard of SEO (search engine optimization), but in case you’re unfamiliar with how it works, here’s the Wikipedia definition:

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of increasing the quality and quantity of website traffic, increasing visibility of a website or a web page to users of a web search engine.

But SEO is dead, right? It was hot for a while, but the wave is gone and it’s not important anymore, right? I wouldn’t bet on it, and neither would the experts.

According to Brian Dean, SEO in 2019 is alive and well, and more important than ever. Check out his blog post for 21 Tips on the latest in SEO and some great SEO hacks that will help you increase traffic to your website. In his post, he outlines the exact SEO techniques he’s used to drive over 207 thousand unique visitors to read his content every month, so if you’re looking to improve your search rankings or generate blog posts and content that will increase your CTR (click-through rate), Brian’s page is definitely a worthwhile read.

Sean Patrick Si agrees. In his post about the importance of SEO today, he argues that with the internet being everyone’s go-to for information, an effective SEO strategy is imperative to any business, both online and off. His philosophy is simple: When people need information, they go to the internet. Therefore, it stands to reason that the businesses that show up first in search results are going to get the most traffic.

It’s clear that SEO is here to stay, so if you want to be successful, an effective SEO strategy is a great place to start.
